The joint preliminary hearing for Waynesburg University students charged in connection with an alleged incident earlier this month on campus in Martin Hall has been continued from its original date set for Wednesday, Sept. 25, to Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to the Magisterial District Court in Waynesburg. 

     Omari Lateef Scott, 19, of Washington, D.C.; Ja Shawn Jordan Wyckoff, 19, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Deon Keith Windham, 18, of Hyattsville, Md., will appear before Magisterial District Judge David Curt Balint. 

This preliminary hearing is set regarding the three being charged by Waynesburg Borough Police in connection with an incident reported Sunday, Sept. 8, which included allegations of assault towards another resident. 

Scott, Wyckoff and Windham are all charged with burglary. Scott is also charged with simple assault and harassment. Wyckoff is also charged with criminal conspiracy engaging and harassment. Windham also has two charges of criminal conspiracy engaging.
