Internship presentations are out of this galaxy

In a galaxy far far away … internship presentations are back this spring! Join the Department of Communication for its kickoff event on Tuesday, March 29 where four students will present their summer internships.

Jedi Masters Lachlan Loudon, Scott Miller, Paige Livingston and Riley Holsinger will be bringing peace to McCance Auditorium at 12 p.m. With the age-old theme “Star Wars,” the team is sure to impress you with their presentations.

These students have traveled near and far to accomplish the requirement of graduating with the internship credit. Loudon’s internship was on the planet of Pittsburgh at Brunner, Holsinger stayed on his home planet and worked for the Johnstown Mill Rats, Miller, the technical genius used his skills at K2 Logistics and Livingston battled ghostly spirits at the Greene County Historical Society.

Why support the internship presentations? Because it supports the students who put in their hard work over the summer, it allows you to learn what is expected of you at an internship and it helps students discover places they can intern at.

Admission to the event is FREE, so it gives you no excuse to join these students during the most thrilling event the Department of Communication has to offer. The power converters at Tosche Station can wait!

So, ride your tie fighters and x-wings over to McCance auditorium on March 29 at 12 p.m. for the Department of Communication’s internship presentations.

May the force be with you.
