The weekend has almost come. With those three days comes a variety events, especially with the fall season beginning. To provide convenience, The Yellow Jacket has compiled a guide to three events happening Oct. 4-6.
- Waynesburg University’s Homecoming
Homecoming brings a multitude of events to the university. On Friday, Oct. 4 the Homecoming Picnic Dinner from 5-6:30 p.m. at Johnson Commons. The Homecoming 5k Run/Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. JacketFest is also Saturday and in Johnson Commons. It starts at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. There are more events not listed here. Check them out here.
- PAMX Fly Racing Pennsylvania State Championship
The finale for the state championship is Saturday, Oct. 5 to Sunday, Oct. 6, at High Pointe, Pennsylvania. With around 30 classes the event will host, there will be a lot of racing and excitement. Weekend passes are $10 with children age 5 and under enter free of charge. For more information and purchase tickets, click here.
- JM Fall Craft and Vendor Show
To promote local small artisans and venders, the Jefferson Morgan High School is hosting their annual fall craft and vendor show Saturday, Oct. 5. There will also be a chicken roast and mums sale. Admission is free. The event starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. Click on the link here for more on the event.
