Guide to the weekend, March 13-15

According to the national weather service, it is supposed to rain this weekend. So that leaves two options: stay in the residence halls or go out to find indoor activities. To aid in choosing, here is a guide to three indoor activities this weekend.

1. The Pennsylvania Game Commission is organizing a Spring Hunter Trapper Education Course for the upcoming spring hunting season. The Mt. Morris Sportsmen Club is hosting the course March 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The club will provide breakfast, snacks, and a light lunch. Registration is online on the game commission’s website. Walk-ins are accepted.

2. In the school district’s high school gym, anyone can bring items to sell at the Jefferson-Morgan Flea Market. The event is March 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., organized by the Jefferson-Morgan Student Council.

3. The band Third Degree is performing at The Bobtown Rod & Gun Club.    March 14 starting at 8 p.m. The Greene County band formed in 1988 and disbanded in 1992. With new members the band will revisit old songs and show some new music.
