Candy shop holds Mardi Gras celebration

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, 5 Kidz Kandy in Waynesburg will be holding its annual Mardi Gras celebration. Select pastries will be available along with a southern lunch beginning at 11 a.m. and festive, “fiery” desserts beginning at 4 p.m. 5 Kidz Kandy will be open from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the day of the celebration while supplies last.

Block and Bridle show comes for Greene County Fairgrounds

The West Virginia University Block & Bridle Club will be holding its annual Jackpot show on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Greene County Fairgrounds. All ages of showmen are welcome to participate, and entries must be submitted on the Showmanship App.
