Friday reaches 1,000 points in win over Franciscan

McFadden’s free throws help Waynesburg complete comeback

The Waynesburg women’s basketball team defeated Allegheny on Saturday, 69-68, in comeback fashion.  The Yellow Jackets trailed Allegheny 59-44 heading into the fourth quarter before the Yellow Jackets outscored Allegheny 25-9 in the fourth quarter for the win.   Junior guard Kara McFadden a pair of free throws with 14 seconds left to put Waynesburg up 68-67.
