Tired of sitting at home on the weekends with nothing to do? Well, The Yellow Jacket knows the struggles of those weekend boredoms. To cure them, here is a guide to three events happening this weekend.
1. Fall Craft and Vendor Show
Check out local artwork and homemade crafts and food Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s craft show will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds because of how big the event has grown over the years. The Auxillary of the Waynesburg VFW are hosting it, as always. Learn more about the craft show by clicking here.
2. Chili Cook-off
Waynesburg First Church of the Nazarene are seeing who can cook the best chili Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. To watch and attend, pay $5, which includes the french fry and baked potato bar. To participate in the cook-off, admission is $10. First, second and third place participants will receive gift cards. Click here for more information.
3. Sips N’ Giggles Comedy Show
Thistlethwaite Vineyards are hosting another event, featuring local comedians Eric Travers and Derrick Knopsnyder. The event is also Nov. 16, from 6:30-10 p.m. with the comedy act starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, with requests for reservations at 728-883-3372. For more information, click here.
