Dan Verhovsek is one of the rare Waynesburg University athletes to reach All-PAC honors for football and wrestling. The senior’s accolades this year include an all-conference honorable mention for football as a linebacker and a Presidents’ Athletic Conference championship at the 184-pound weight class for wrestling. Men’s and Women’s tennis compete this weekend

Both Waynesburg University tennis teams were in action this past weekend. The men’s team hosted its first matchSaturday against Muskingum, while the women’s team hosted Mt. After finishing the 2017 campaign with a seventh-place finish at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships, the Waynesburg University men’s tennis team is itching to improve on that finish this Friday and Saturday.
